BAGUIO CITY – Mayor Mauricio Domogan signed a city council resolution congratulating and commending Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio and Danny “King” Kingad for their victory during the “One Championship: Pinnacle of Power” mixed martial arts championships held recently in Macau, China.
Also congratulated was their coach, Marquez “Mark” Sangiao, for his relentless support and guidance of the victorious mixed martial artists.
All three belong to the world-renowned Team Lakay.
Introduced jointly and collectively by all the aldermen, the measure states that the triumph of these honored and respected fighters has once again made the city proud and has shown the entire Philippines the spirit of Baguio’s competitiveness and excellence.
“The city’s officialdom recognizes the dedication of Team Lakay Mixed Martial Arts fighters for the glory they earned that deserves commendation for bringing glory and pride to their families, the city and country as well,” the resolution states.
It also commends the fighters for making their mark in the field of mixed martial arts in the international stage.
