The group is represented by members of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Apayao State College (ASC), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
Cluster 7, represented by the Philippine Army, was second, while Cluster six (6), composed of Team Capitol and the Office of the Congressman, secured third place. Cluster one (1), from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Regional Trial Court (RTC), Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), Parole and Probation Office (PPO), Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC), Civil Service Commission (CSC), and Land Registration Authority (LRA), was awarded 4th place.
The battle of the bands, which is but one of the many activities lined-up in Apayao’s celebration of the CSC anniversary, was held at BGVJr. Memorial Sports Center in Luna.
The CSC hopes that through the many activities being held, a culture of excellence, professionalism, and public service among civil servants will be encouraged. Likewise, it is expected that such will inspire them to become agile and future-ready servant heroes who can adapt to the changing needs and demands of the people they serve. By Jomela Dela Torre
