ALFONSO LISTA, Ifugao March 10 – A 47-year old farmer was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant forviolation of the provisions of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children in his residence at San Jose, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual as Ernesto Daragay Comisario, 47, married, farmer and a resident of San Jose, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rufus G. Malecdan, Jr. of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 15 in Alfonso Lista for violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children with a recommended bail of P120,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the Alfonso Lista Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
