TABUK CITY, Kalinga March 10 – Two persons were arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for attempted highway robbery at Nambararan, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the arrested individuals as Junior Tayab Aka Basilio Tayab Jr., 31, single, farmer and a resident of Barangay Nambaran, Tabuk City and Pangay Ambasing Aka Charles Ambasing, 27, single and a resident of Sitio Laod, Barangay Nambaran, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
The duo was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marcelino K. Wakas of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 25 in Tabuk City for attempted highway robbery with a still undisclosed bail for their temporary liberty.
The two arrested individuals were brought to the Tabuk City Police Office for documentation prior to their turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against them.
