It is a red card for a young football coach after getting caught with P.9M worth of marijuana in a checkpoint operation last Saturday in Buscalan, TInglayan, Kalinga.
Joint anti-narcotics agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and local police arrested Billy Jack Magana Sanchez, 24 years old and resident of TImog Park Homes, Angeles, Pampanga after they found four marijuana bricks and six tubular marijuana stalks that were packed in his bag.
The illegal hemp weighing 11,170 grams were valued by the Dangerous Drugs Board to be worth P941,250.00.
Sanchez is now detained at the Tinglayan Police Station pending the filing of a case for violation of Republic Act Number 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
