CABUGAO, Apayao – A heavy equipment operator, who is the town’s No. 2 top most wanted person, was arrested by combined police operatives for a case of murder filed against him at his work place in Kiko Camarin, Caloocan City midnight Monday.
Superintendent Cherry Fajardo, public information officer of the Police Regional Office (PRO) in the Cordillera, identified the arrested wanted individual as Nick Labutan Balag, 26, heavy equipment operator, a native of Cabugao, Apayao, who now lives at Kiko Camarin, Caloocan City.
Balag was arrested on the strength of a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) of Luna, Apayao for frustrated murder with a recommended bail of P120,000 for his temporary liberty.
The suspect was brought to the Cabugao Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the appropriate disposition of the case filed against him.
