BAGUIO CITY November 12 – A 38-year old manager of an insurance company was found lifeless inside his room by his employees at No. 99 Manuel Roxas St., Trancoville, here around 3:30 pm Wednesday.
Senior Superintendent Rolando F. Miranda, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the alleged suicide victim as Roberto Ambrocio Canaria, 38, OIC Manager of COCOLIFE Insurance, and a resident of No. 99 Manuel Roxas St., Trancoville, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was last seen by his employee Jenica Bongato Maure at around 10 pm Tuesday and that he reportedly failed to go to work the following day which promoted Jenica and a certain Jon Erickson Mundo to go to see him in his residence.
To their surprise, the found the victim lifeless inside his room that prompted them to seek the assistance of police operatives.
Probers ruled that the cause of death of the victim is still uncertain awaiting the conduct of the appropriate autopsy on his remains which was brought to a local funeral parlor along Marcos highway.
