PINUKPUK, Kalinga – A 38-year old jobless man was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for frustrated murder in his residence at Kakaligdan, Bayaw, here, Friday.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted person as Teddie Cawon Baggay, 38, single, unemployed and a resident of Kakaligdan, Pinukpuk, Kalinga.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issud by Juddge Marcelino Ka. Wakas of the Regional |Trial Court (RTC) Branch 25 in Tabuk City, Kalinga for frustrated murder with a recommended bail of P200,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was subsequently brought to the Pinukpuk Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case fiiled against him.
Further, police operatives recovered from the suspect a calibre .38 revolver with five live ammunitions.
The seized firearm and ammunitions were confiscated by the police operatives to support the filing of separate charges of illegal possession of firearms against him before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
