TABUK CITY, Kalinga, January 3, 2023 -With high hopes of a better and improved Kalinga this year, Vice Governor Jocel C. Baac expressed his continued support to the administration of Governor James S. Edduba and ensured his commitment to the guidance in the proper disposal or usage of government funds.
In his message after the thanksgiving mass, he said that 2023 is a challenging year for public officials to direct the improvement of Kalinga through accountable governance. “We will continue doing our part as your provincial officials. We shall see to it nga mausar nga nasayaat iti kwarta ti probinsya. Let us all do our part and prepare this province for future generations.”
He vowed his continuous support to the administration and encouraged the public to do the same for the constant improvement and development of the province.
“This is for our dream to make Kalinga Lumin-awa, to make Kalinga shine. I believe this is the most important thing to do. We need to support this administration. We need to support the governor, not because we love the governor as a person, but because we love this province.
“Performance nga nasayaat iti ited tayo as gesture of support because this is our purpose. We support the governor who leads this province because it is Biblical that authority comes from Him. Ti nangisaad ti autoridad ket ni Apo Diyos, isu nga suruten tayo no sino ti adda dita ta isu ti insaad ni Apo Dios,” according to him.
The Vice Governor also informed that the Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved the cash bonus for employees through the Collective Negotiation Agreement, the one-time Service Recognition Incentive, and Gratuity Pay.
He also congratulated the employees who facilitated the thanksgiving mass, and the newly appointed and promoted employees, and appreciated the efforts of the Provincial Human Resource Management Office led by Grace K. Flores for facilitating the process.
