BAGUIO CITY June 27 – A 28-year old construction worker died after he was allegedly mauled by still unidentified male persons in front of a night establishment along Naguilian road, here, Saturday.
Senior Superintendent Ramil Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police office (BCPO), identified the fatality as Michael Bruan Abrigo, 28, married, Construction worker, and a resident of Barangay Kaylaway, Nasugbo, Batangas.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and his companions came out from a night spot and then met a group of male persons who provoked them to a fistfight that resulted to a commotion.
After a few moments, the victim was found by his companions sprawled on the other side of the road that prompted them to rush him to the Pines City Doctors Hospital for medical treatment but he was declared dead several hours while being provided the necessary medical attention.
The suspects are now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives for him to answer for the crime they committed.
