FLORA, Apayao April 17 – A 27-yer old labourer was injured after he was stabbed by a farmer during a heated altercation that transpired while they were having a drinking session at barangay Malayugan, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the victim as Michael Casilana Fernando, 27, married, labourer while the suspect was named as Ronald Pagtama, of legal age, married, farmer and both residents of barangay Malayugan, Flora, Apayao.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect were having a drinking session when a heated altercation suddenly erupted between them.
The victim was rushed to the Flora District Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect was arrested during the follow-up operation to be conducted.
