STA. MARCELA, Apayao – A 43-year old man died after his motorcycle crashed into an on-going project site along the road in front of the public market at San Carlos, here, Saturday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Alexander Ralustian Pacis, 43 years old, married and a resident of Barangay San Carlos, Sta. Marcela, Apayao.
Initial police investigation showed that concerned residents were abler to see a beam from a tail light of a motorcycle in the place of incident that prompted them to go near the area where a road project is being undertaken.
Upon reaching the place of incident, they saw the damaged motorcycle on the road with the victim lying unconscious on the pavement.
The victim was rushed to the Sta. Marcela District Hospital for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to fatal head and body injuries.
