URDANETA CITY, Pangasinan March 16 – A 41-year old man died after he allegedly hanged himself inside his room due to his mental illness at Zone 6, Nancalubasaan, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Orlando Alano Valencia, 41, single, jobless and a resident of Nancalubasaan, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and his cousin came from a drinking spree when he averred that he plans to allegedly commit suicide.
However, after several hours, his brother found his lifeless body hanging in his room with the use of a leather belt.
He was rushed to the Urdaneta District Hospital for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to strangulation.
