KABUGAO, Apayao May 04 – A 42-year old man was injured after he was allegedly shot by a still unidentified suspect while he and his companions were watching someone fishing along the Apayao river at Lutuakan, here, Wednesday.
Police authorities identified the injured individual as Wilnor Wahinghing Laguitnay 43, single, resident of Lenneng Kabugao Apayao.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim and his companions were watching someone fishing along the Apayao River when the still unidentified gunmen suddenly appeared from nowhere and shot them that hit him on his shoulder before fleeing towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was rushed by his companions to the Apayao Provincial Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation.
