A motorcylcle driver was hurt when he counter-flowed oncoming traffic along the flyover located at Lower Magsaysay Avenue, Baguio City. The incident happened September 6, 2018 at about 9:05 PM.
Investigation disclosed that a Rusi MP 110 Motorcycle driven by Jerry Ragasa Carreon, 30, single, laborer, and a resident of Middle San Carlos Hieghts, Baguio City, counter-flowed by entering the outbound lane of the flyover heading to La Trinidad that resulted to his vehicle colliding with an Isuzu Elf Water tank driven by Jerrom Mariano Magaoay, 23, single, driver and a resident of MA 192 Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet.
As a result of the collision, both involved vehicles incurred damages while the driver of the former vehicle sustained a ractured right thigh bone. He was brought to the Pines City Doctor’s Hospital for treatment and was confined thereat.
The motorcycle was impounded at TEU office and the driver was issued a traffic citation ticket. The case is for further investigation.
