TUBA, Benguet – The MVP Group of companies, through the Philex Mining Corporation, recently rolled out the implementation of the mass vaccination of all the employees and dependents of its partner companies operating in the different parts of Northern Luzon.
Philex legal and administrative manager lawyer Eduardo M. Aratas stated that some 1,600 employees and dependents of the companies operating under the MVP group will be vaccinated within the next 2 days of the vaccination roll out.
He pointed out that the inoculation is part of the company’s commitment to help the government to aggressively roll out the vaccination among their ranks for the immediate attainment of the desired population protection and eventual herd immunity.
Earlier, the MVP Group of companies tapped the services of a third party that will help in aggressively rolling out the company’s mass vaccination program in the different parts of the country.
Aratas described the situation in the inoculation area as very orderly because the employees and their dependents from the companies come in batches based on the schedule of their inoculation that had been earlier provided to them by the third-party partner.
Further, he added that the vaccination area is spacious to pave the way for the strict adherence to the implementation of the prevailing minimum health standards such as the wearing of face masks and shields and the observance of physical distancing among those who are scheduled to be vaccinated on a given time and date.
The Philex official asserted that the MVP Group of companies remains committed in extending whatever appropriate assistance to the concerned government agencies, the national and local governments for the immediate realization of the desired herd immunity among the population through the vaccination of its employees and their dependents.
