TABUK CITY, Kalinga – MPAGE Real Estate Services is developing a two-hectare residential subdivision in Sitio Burubor, Barangay Bulo.
In a statement issued Tuesday by the founder himself Alhamar Orpiano during the launching of the project called Amethyst Subdivision, he said the company chose to invest in this project to help those who wish to acquire a lot at a reasonable downpayment and monthly amortization.
The MPAGE Real Estate Services currently has several projects around the city and in Rizal Municipality including the two-hectare and one-hectare residential subdivisions in Barangay Nambaran and Sitio Mapaoay, Barangay Bulanao Norte respectively, the 800 sq.m in Sitio Burubur and the 25-acre E. Batacay subdivision in Barangay Alibangbang, Rizal.
The company is now working on the documents required by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), and the locational clearance from the Zoning Division of the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) of the City Local Government, and the facilities imposed by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) like water source, electric posts, drainage canal, eight-meter road wide, embankment and backfilling, among others.
The selling price is P2,400.00 to P3,500.00 per sq.m. (depending on the location), and the available 74 lots have an area ranging from 210 sq.m, 250 sq.m, 304 sq.m and 364 sq.m.
According to Orpiano, reservations are now accepted with a P10,000.00 fee, and guarantees no interest in the three-year payment contract. Titling of the property will be shouldered by the company once fully-paid, he added
Henry Gupaal, Executive Assistant of City Mayor Darwin Estrañero said that the city government welcomes projects like this one to support the program of the Marcos administration on housing development for Filipinos.
He mentioned that the private sector is growing and cooperating in addressing the needs of people when the city government cannot provide all. However, he said that there should still be a balance between urbanization and preservation of agricultural lands.
