BAKUN, Benguet – Combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents uprooted and destroyed over P272,000 worth of marijuana plants at sitio Lepsik, Kayapa, Bakun, Benguet recently.
Senior Superintendent Rodolfo S. Azurin, Jr., director of the Benguet provincial police office, said the operating troops of Bakun MPS uprooted and destroyed 6,800 pieces of Marijuana seedlings which were planted in a land area measuring more or less 310 square meters.
He said elements of the Benguet provincial police office will continue to conduct marijuana eradication operations in the future in order to help remove the tag of Benguet and the Cordillera as the major source of marijuana being circulated in the country.
