CONNER, Apayao – Provincial Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr. and Congresswoman Eleanor Bulut-Begtang spearheaded the inauguration ceremony of a newly constructed multi-purpose gymnasium in Barangay Manag, Conner, Apayao on November 20, 2023.
The offices of the governor and the congresswoman sponsored the PhP3,479,956.12 worth facility which will function as an evacuation shelter as well as place of gathering for various events.
Bulut Jr., during the event, promised that more projects would be built benefiting the barangay if people do their part in working for the development of their communities and protecting the progress they have achieved.
The governor likewise reminded the people that Apayao will become a better home for all Yapayaos only if filthy politics are eliminated.
“Maysa kadagiti mangperdi iti komunidad ket isu iti narugit nga pulitika nga isu ti manglapped ti progreso ken development. Isunga nga agbantay kayo ken aramiden yo ti pagsayaatan ti amin. Saan kayo nga agpapa-allilaw,” Bulut added.
The governor, during the event, awarded PhP50,000 to each barangay in Conner to augment other necessities within the barangay.
Meantime, Rep. Bulut-Begtang informed the people of the many initiatives being done by her office in which she promised more funds to the various sectors of the community to provide better services.
She further reminded the people of the importance of working hard together and of recognizing that the province has been well managed and the communities have not been left without help.
“No kitaen yo, haan nga mabaybay-an ti probinsya tayo. Dakkel ti um-umay nga pondo tayo, Isunga agtitinnulong tayo kuma,” said Bulut-Begtang.
