The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Baguio-Benguet Chapter, in coordination with the Cooperative Development Authority, is offering a three-day accreditation renewal seminar for external auditors of cooperatives and updates on cooperatives on Thursday to Saturday, January 12-14, 2016 at the Prince Plaza Hotel, Legarda Road, Baguio City.
“(The seminar will satisfy the requirements) for cooperative auditors who would renew their accreditation.” said Rhad Vic Estoque, the PICPA local chapter President. “Invitation is also extended to coop chairmen, Board Of Directors, Managers, Accountants, and Bookkeepers.”, he continued.
The seminar also allows 24 continuing professional education units to registered CPAs of the Philippines. These units can be used to comply with requirements in acquiring and maintaining their Board of Accountancy accreditations.
Seminar fee is priced at P5,400, however, it would be given to members of good standing of PICPA at only P4,500. Pre-registration is highly encouraged. Confirmation of attendance should be made on or before January 10.
