TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Another drug peddler was caught for alleged selling the illegal substance believed to be shabu at around 3:50 PM on May 26, 2020 at Tripple F Bar, Bulanao Norte of this city.
The arrested suspect is identified as Jomar Ayong y Wacnang alias ‘Batnag’ 29 of Barangay Lacnog, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Based on police reports, the suspect was caught with five pieces of heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance and three pieces genuine one-thousand-peso bill used as buy-bust money, acquired by the suspect after selling the substance to an undercover police who acted as a poseur-buyer.
The operating team also confiscated from the suspect’s fifty pieces of genuine one-thousand-peso bill, seven pieces genuine five hundred peso bill, two pieces one hundred peso bill with a total amount of Php53,700.00 pesos to include the buy bust money which was used on the said operation, five pieces one US dollar bill, one piece two dollar bill, one piece 20 US dollar bill, one piece 50 funezig bill, one black VIVO smart phone and one unit orange black Honda XRM 125 FI motorcycle without plate number.
The confiscated drug is estimated to have a value of Php3000.00. The suspect is listed as a Street Level Individual drug personality.
The police operatives composed of the PIU/DEU, RID-PRO Cordillera, RIU-14, RMFB-15 and the Tabuk City Police Station.
