BAGUIO CITY – To make insurance more accessible to Filipinos, BDO Insurance Brokers, Inc. (BDOI) and Pioneer came up with an innovative program of making various simple insurance products accessible via 56 locations of The SM Store nationwide.
The process of availing is simple, said BDOI General Manager and Senior Vice President Tracy Tan in a statement. “We are happy to introduce Insure ME@SM, which is short for Insurance Made Easy at The SM Store. Customers can just go to the Business Services counter of any SM Store nationwide and ask about travel insurance, dengue insurance, personal accident insurance or even your vehicle’s compulsory third party liability (CTPL) insurance, pay for it and activate the coverage right there,” she said.
The other half of this undertaking, Pioneer, for its part said it has always been the group’s retail vision to have insurance reach more people at most convenient and affordable ways.
“This is a first in the country and Pioneer is proud and honored to be part of Insure ME@SM. Is there a better way to achieve our retail vision for insurance but to partner with the leader in retail who serves millions – SM and a company who finds ways – BDOI?” said its President Lorenzo Chan.
Meanwhile, The SM Store President Chelo Monasterio said having Insure ME offered at The SM Store is consistent with the vision of SM to offer as many choices in products and services as possible to its shoppers and the public.
The following insurance products are available nationwide at SM Store Customer Service or Business Service counters in the malls: Travel Insurance, Dengue Insurance, and CTPL insurance for vehicles.
