BAGUIO CITY – The Office of Representative Mark Go continues to engage with individuals and families in crisis to distribute relief goods that came from House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez in the district office located at the second floor of the city hall main building.
Earlier, some 413 students were able to receive their respective educational assistance from the Office of congressman Go last August 18, 2023 during simple distribution rites while some 77 individuals in crisis who were affected by Supertyphoon Egay and Typhoon Falcon were also able to get their financial aid last August 19, 2023.
The distribution of the educational assistance to deserving students was just in time for the upcoming opening of classes so that the same will be used to defray a portion of their school expenses during the present school year.
The advisory from Congressman Go’s office stated that more individuals in crisis will be scheduled to receive financial aid in the coming days.
Congressman Go is frequently represented by his wife Soledad Go in numerous social engagements and distribution of assistance as the lawmaker is currently busy attending to his appointments in the various House committees considering the ongoing deliberations in the House for the proposed P5.76 trillion budget of the national government next year.
Last month, House Speaker Romualdez visited the city right after the onslaught of Supertyphoon Egay where he distributed financial assistance to calamity-stricken residents of Baguio and Benguet aside from leaving behind funds under the Assistance to Individuals in crisis Situation (AICS) which is now being distributed by the office of Congressman Go to identified beneficiaries.
