SSS, inisyuhan ng show cause orders ang mga delinkwenteng employers

Dalawang lungsod dito sa Northern Luzon ang kinalampag ng SSS sa magkasunod na Run After Contribution Evaders o RACE Campaign. Siyam na delingkwenteng employers sa San Fernando City, La Union at 12 naman sa Tuguegarao City, Cagayan ang inisyuhan ng Show Cause Orders dahil sa paglabag nila sa kanilang obligasyon sa SSS.
Sa San Fernando City, walo sa siyam na employers ang hindi nagreremit ng SSS contributions ng kanilang mga empleyado.Isa naman dito ay naudlot ang pangakong ipagpatuloy na bayaran ang nasimulang contribution payment ng kanilang empleyado.

Samu’t saring violation naman ang nilabag ng mga employers sa Tuguegarao City. Halos lahat ng mga na-isyuhan ng Show Cause Order ay hindi nagreremit ng SSS contribution ng kanilang mga empleyado, hindi nagrereport ng kanilang mga empleyado o kaya naman hindi tama ang inirereport na bilang ng kanilang mga empleyado sa SSS. Mayroon ding employer na talagang hindi nirehestro ang kanilang kumpanya sa SSS.

Ang mga employers na ito sa dalawang nabanggit na lungsod ay iba-iba rin ang linya ng negosyo, may grocery store,beauty parlor, medical equipment supplier, construction developer, gasolinahan, car wash, at iba pa.

Napakalaki ang epekto ng kanilang paglabag sa SSS. Una, kawawa ang kanilang mga empleyadong hindi makapag-avail ng kanilang mga benepisyo dahil kung hindi man kulang ay sadyang walang nakapost na contributions sa kanilang records sa SSS. Sa isang grocery store na na-isyuhan ng Show Cause Order, may tindera silang buntis at manganganak na sa Nobyembre. Ngunit paano niya papakinabangan ang 105 Maternity Benefit kung hindi nahulugan ng kanyang employer ang kanyang SSS?

Pangalawa, dahil sa delingkwente ang mga employers, lalong lumalaki ang kanilang penalty. Sa lumang batas ng SSS, 3 porsyento kada buwan ang penalty ng mga employers kapag nakakaligtaan nilang magbayad ng SSS para sa kanilang empleyado. Sa ilalim ng bagong batas ng SSS o RA 11199, binaba na ito sa 2 porsyento kada buwan. Gayunpaman, kahit babaan pa namin ang penalty ngunit patuloy pa rin nilang pababayaan ang kanilang pinansyal na obligasyon, patuloy na lolobo ang kanilang multa at mas lalo silang mahihirapang bayaran ang mga ito.
Pangatlo, maaaring makulong ng anim hanggang 12 taon ang mga employers na hindi tatalima sa kanilang obligasyon sa SSS. Bukod sa pagkakakulong, kailangan pa rin nilang bayaran ang kontribusyon ng kanilang empleyado pati na rin ang multa na ipinataw sa kanila ng korte.

Upang matulungan ang mga employers sa pagsasa-ayos ng kanilang delinquency sa SSS, inilunsad ng aming ahensya ang Contribution Penalty Condonation Program o CPCP. Matatandaan na sa ilalim ng programang ito, ang kabuuang kontribusyon na lamang ang babayaran ng employer samantalang ipagpapaliban na ang naipong multa. Kinakailangan lamang na mag-submit ng letter of intent ang employer sa SSS upang mabigyan siya ng kaukulang computation ng dapat niyang bayaran. May hanggang 48 na buwan o apat na taon ang employer para i-settle ang kanyang obligasyon sa SSS.

Lahat ng mga nabigyan ng Show Cause Order ay kwalipikadong mag-avail ng CPCP. Kaya naman, kasabay ng RACE Campaign ay inanyayahan ang mga employers na magsadya sa SSS La Union o SSS Tuguegarao para mag-avail ng CPCP.

Sa lahat ng mga delingkwenteng employers, hanggang September 6, 2019 na lang po ang programang ito.

Sa wakas ay mapapakinggan niyo na rin ang Usapang SSS sa ating mga lokal na radyo dito sa lungsod ng Baguio at kalapit na lugar. Tuwing Martes ng alas dyes ng umaga, mapapakinggan niyo ang inyong lingkod sa DZWT 745 khz, samantalang nasa Z-Radio 98.7 FM naman ako tuwing Biyernes ng alas nuwebe ng umaga. Inaanyayahan ko po kayo na umantabay sa aming mga programa sa radyo para sa mga pinakabagong balita tungkol sa SSS at para masagot namin ang inyong mga katanungan.

Nais naming ipaalam sa aming mga pensioners na bukas po ang Pension Loan Program ng SSS para sa inyong panandaliang pangangailangang pinansyal. Inaanyayahan namin ang aming mga pensiyonado na nais mag-avail ng PLP na magsadya sa pinakamalapit na tanggapan ng SSS sa kanilang lugar.
