BAGUIO CITY August 23 – A 47-year old land surveyor died after he was allegedly stabbed dead by still unidentified assailants at Purok 21, Sariling Sikap, San Carlos Heights, Irisan, here, Tuesday night.
Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the fatality as Harold Gideon Madarang Chomacog, 47, Land Surveyor, residing at Purok 1, Victoria Village barangay Baguio City.
Motorists informed probers that they saw the bloodied body of the victim sprawled bloodied on the roadside that prompted them to extend the needed assistance to him.
Upon noticing that he had several stab wounds on the different parts of his body, particularly on his chest and on his arm, the concerned motorists immediately rushed the victim to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to a fatal stab wound on his chest.
Probers are now conducting the needed investigation to ascertain the motive of the victim’s murder and the suspects behind his untimely demise.
