CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, LA Trinidad, Benguet – The relentless anti-illegal drug campaign in the City by operatives of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) and PDEA-CAR resulted in the arrest of two Street Level Individuals (SLI) and one High Value Individual (HVI) in separate operations on Monday evening, May 17, 2021.
According to the City Police Director, PCOL ALLEN RAE F CO, the HVI identified as Limel Nico Siloy San Pedro, 33 was arrested at Sto. Rosario Valley, Baguio City while the two SLI identified as Ferdinand Balleza Bulao, 37 and Kury Justin Gutierrez Facullo, 30, were arrested at San Vicente, Baguio City and at Malcolm Square, respectively.
Reports revealed that the High Value drug personality, suspect San Pedro, was arrested after a drug transaction in his residence where he sold one plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing about one gram with a Standard Drug Price of Php 6,800.00 to the operative who acted as poseur-buyer. The drug evidence and the boodle money confiscated were inventoried on-site in the presence of Prosecutor Don Immanuel Vergara; Barangay Kagawad Felipe Gaerlan Jr. and Mr. Dionisio Dennis of DZWT.
Meanwhile, suspect Bulao was arrested after selling suspected shabu weighing .5 gram worth Php 3,400.00 to the operative. Another plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing .5 gram worth 3,400.00 pesos was recovered from the suspect during the course of his arrest.
Markings and inventory of confiscated pieces of evidence were done on site duly witnessed by Prosecutor Vergara, Punong Barangay Luis S. Dulagan of San Vicente and Ms. Brigitte Marcasi of Bombo Radyo.
Lastly, a buy-bust on the same evening resulted to the arrest of another SLI, Facullo, after he sold one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing about 0.5 gram and with estimated value of Php 3,400.00 to an operative who posed as buyer.
All suspects were brought to the respective arresting unit for documentation and proper disposition while separate cases for violation of Section 5 (Selling of Dangerous Drugs) of Article II of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing against them.(PROCOR-PIO)
