BAGUIO CITY – A 52-year old house keeper died after she allegedly collapsed while waiting for the grand float parade at Upper Session Road, here, Sunday morning.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Evelyn Tabing Bautista, 52, married, housekeeper, and resident of Naglabrahan, Guimba, Nueva Ecija.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim, together with her family members and relatives, were situated at Upper Session Road awaiting for the grand float parade, one of the major highlights of the Panagbenga or the Baguio flower festival, when she allegedly collapsed.
She was immediately rushed by emergency responders and volunteers to the Pines City Doctors Hospital for medical treatment but she was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to alleged cardiac arrest.
The victim was reportedly previously confined in their province due to alleged heart problems.
Her relatives refused to subject her body to autopsy because they believe that she died due to natural cause.
