TABUK CITY, Kalinga March 29 – Two persons died after they were allegedly stabbed by still unidentified assailants in front of a hotel at San Francisco, Dagupan West, here, Monday night.
Senior Superintendent Brent Majaco, provincial director of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the fatalities as Brix Digmo Lumbag, 22, single, farmer and one Norman Sinmay Anniban of legal age and both resident of Laya West, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Initial police investigation showed the two victims allegedly entered the hotel and they were informed by the security guard that there were no available tables that they could occupy which prompted them to leave the establishment.
However, when the security guard of the hotel went outside the establishment to conduct his regular routine, he discovered the two male persons sprawled bloodied on the pavement with two male persons running away from the crime scene.
The victims reportedly sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of their bodies and were allegedly declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to fatal stab wounds.
