BANGUED, Abra March 29 – A 19-year old student was injured after he was stabbed on his chest when he asked permission to go home during a graduation party at Cosili East, here, Tuesday night.
Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum, provincial director of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the injured individual as Christian Jay Tagura Domingo, 19, single, and a resident of Stio Wayya, Velasco, Tayum, Abra while the suspect was named as Jerwin Cabadsan, 25, single, farmer, and a resident of Sitio Barbarit, Cosili East, Bangued, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and his companion attended the graduation party of his girlfriend in the place of incident hwwerein they had a drinking session with some of the visitors.
After a few moments, he asked permission fromhis girlfriend’s mother for him to go home but the suspect went near him to ask why was he leaving.
The victim allegedly ignored the suspect and proceeded to where his motorcycle was parked but he was followed by the suspect and for still unknown reasons, stabbed hom once on his chest.
The victim was rushed by concerned citizens to the Seares Memorail Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect fled towards an undisclosed direction and he is now the subject of a manhunt operation.
