TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Six persons, including a female, were arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after being caught red-handed engaging in the alleged sale of marijuana at sitio Pakak, barangay Agbannawag, here, Sunday.
Police authorities identified the arrested drug traders as Jeggs Richie Panlasigui; John Paul Pabula; John Paul Corpuz; Carlo Layugan; and Evelyn Balisi, all residents of Cagayan and one Claver Aplod from Agbannawag, Tabuk, Kalinga.
Confiscated from the possession of the alleged drug traders by the operating government troops were Five small paper packed of marijuana; one derivative believed to be marijuana hashish; and one improvised pipe with alleged marijuana content.
The arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Tabuk City Police Office for documentation awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges against them before the city prosecutor’s office.
