City officials recently congratulated and commended Maricris Payagen Lad-ey-Neyney of the University of the Cordilleras (UC) for ranking 7th with a rating of 85.05 percent in the August 2023 licensure examination for psychologists and psychometricians.
In a resolution authored by Councilor Arthur Alad-iw, local legislators stated that the feat of Ms. Lad-ey-Neyney further proves that the city being the educational center of the north continues to produce top caliber graduates who perform well in their chosen fields of profession.
Earlier, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 339 out of 468 passed the August 2023 psychologists examination given by the board of Psychology in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga recently.
Lad-ey-Neyney, a UC graduate, was one of the 468 examinees who took the said board examination.
Further, she ranked 7th place with a rating of 85.05 in the overall results of the said examination.
The council claimed that Neyney’s remarkable performance has brought honor and pride to the city which is worthy of commendation and possible emulation by the youth who are time and again encouraged to pursue their desired higher level of education and for them to be able to excel in their chosen fields of profession.
Copies of the approved resolution will be transmitted to the UC management and Ms. Lad-ey-Neyney for their information, guidance, ready reference and further needed action.
