TABUK CITY – Hundreds of YKalingas availed of free government services in the Duterte Legacy caravan held on April 28, 2022 at the Kalinga astrodome.
Organized by the Kalinga Police Provincial Office, the event was a convergence of different government agencies to provide free services to yKalingas including medical check-up, circumcision, haircut, COVID-19 vaccination, processing of government documents, information drives, and many others.
The caravan was kickstarted with a motorcade followed by a program where the provincial directors of national-line agencies talked of their accomplishments, and rebel returnees gave their testimonials.
The caravan showcased the legacy of the Duterte administration. In his message, Department of the Interior and Local Government-Kalinga Provincial Director Mayer Max Adong cited the programs and policies implemented during the Duterte administration that made life better for Filipinos including: free education for all; free irrigation; build, build, build program; universal healthcare; fight against illegal drugs; fight against corruption and Fight against criminality
“As we continue the journey, let us all ensure the delivery of quality basic services to all by practicing good governance and together rise as one province and as one nation,” Adong said.
The Duterte Legacy caravan is being held nationwide with the theme ‘Pagkakaisa ng Mamamayan at Pamahalaan tungo sa Pagbangon, Kapayapaan, at Kaunlaran”.
