TINOC, Ifugao – The No. 2 top most wanted person in the municipality who is currently facing rape charges voluntarily surrendered to elements of the Tinoc Municipal Police Station around 8 am Friday.
Superintendent Cherry Fajardo, public information officer of the Police Regional Office (PRO) in the Cordilera, identified the surrenderee as Darwin Guinyawan Lagaban, 49, married, and a resident of Ahin, Tinoc, Ifugao.
Judge Romeo Habiling of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 14 in Lagawe for the crime of rape in relation to the provisions of Republic Act 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The rape suspect was subjected to the appropriate documentation procedures by the Tinoc Municipal Police Station prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of his case.
