LUNA, Apayao – The Provincial Office for Agricultural Services, municipal governments and national line agencies participated in the Investment Forum and Call for Proposal for the I-REAP Component of the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) Scale-up at the EKB Gymnasium in San Isidro Sur, Luna, Apayao on December 12, 2023 to initiate the identification of enterprise development subprojects and potential local implementers.
Invitations were players across the value chain industry, including financing institutions, private agribusiness entities, farmers’ cooperatives and associations clusters, and other businesses supporting the priority commodities listed in the Provincial Commodity Investment Plan (PCIP).
During the forum, Johnson Cea, Business Development Officer and Roderick Adchog, Project Development Assistant of the Cordillera office of the PRDP, shared valuable insights regarding the participants. The discussions centered around potential agricultural investment areas identified through Value Chain Analyses of priority commodities in the region, aligning with the outlined plans in the PCIP.
