City officials recently commended and congratulated MOOG Controls corporation Baguio for being one of the finalists in the Kapatiran Sa Industriya (KAPATID) Awards by the Employers’ Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP).
In a resolution authored by Vladimir Cayabas, local legislators claimed that the local government proudly recognizes and commends the outstanding contribution of MOOG Controls Corporation Baguio in the field of business excellence nationwide and for bringing pride and honor to the city.
Earlier, the ECOP held its 44th National Conference of Employers on June 27, 2023 at the Manila Hotel Fiesta Pavilion.
One of the highlights of the national conference is the 2023 KAPATID Awards which is a biennial awards activity of the prestigious organization, that recognizes companies that exemplify good business practices in the areas of business resiliency and continuity; responsible and ethical business conduct; quality, productivity, and innovation; and industrial relations.
MOOG Controls Corporation Baguio was selected as one of the top ten finalists competing with 38 other companies nationwide.
Further, the company is a worldwide designer, manufacturer and integrator of precision motion control products and systems.
In 1982, MOOG Controls Corporation was registered and affiliated with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) in the city.
Currently located in two campuses, one for the aircraft group specializing in servo valves and actuation systems for commercial aircraft applications and another for the industrial group specializing in high performance motion control solutions combining electric, hydraulic and hybrid technologies for industrial applications.
