SAGADA, Mountain Province – A 53-year old carpenter died after accidentally fell from the fourth floor of a house that he was constructing at Patay, here, Saturday.
Senior Superintendent Allen S. Ocden, provincial director of the Mountain Province Provincial Police Office, identified the fatality as Wilbur Pantaleon, 53, carpenter, and native of Masla, Tadian, Mountain Province.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was doing his carpentry work in the residential house that was being constructed when the pattern board allegedly collapsed that caused him to fall on the concrete pavement.
He was immediately rushed by concerned citizens to the St. Theodore’s Hospital for medical treatment but he later died while undergoing close medical supervision by attending physicians.
He was subsequently brought to the hospital morgue prior to his remains being transported to his home town for him to be given a descent wake and burial.
