TUBLAY, Benguet October 04 – A 23-year old delivery boy was injured after he was stabbed by still unidentified knife-wielding individuals during a commotion in a store at Km. 21 Ambassador, here, Monday night.
Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Jess Tores Cabontocan, single, 23, delivery boy, and a resident at Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the group of the victim and the suspects were having separate drinking sessions inside the store when the owner noticed that something might go wrong, thus, she requested the group of the victim to leave the store through the back door.
While outside the store, one of those in the group of the victim allegedly threw a bottle inside the establishment that provoked the suspects which resulted into a commotion with the victim stabbed twice on the different parts of his body.
The victim was rushed to the Pines City Doctors Hospital for medical treatment while the suspects are now he subject of a manhunt by responding police operatives.
