BANGUED, Abra – A 34-year old driver was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents after having found in his possessin alleged unlicensed firearms and ammunitions in his residence at sitio Surcoc, barangay Bangbangar, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual as Mark Anthony B. Plurad, 34, married, driver and a resident of sitio Surcoc, barangay Bangbangar, Bangued, Abra.
Confiscated from his possession by the operating troops by virtue of a search warrant issued by Judge Rafael Alzate of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branc 1 in Bangued were confiscation of four live ammunition of caliber .45 and one live ammunition of caliber 357.
The arrested individual and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bangued Municipal Police Station awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
