LICUAN-BAAY, Abra March 14 – A 57-year old farmer died after he allegedly drowned in the vicinity of the Panaklisan waterfalls at Nalbuan, here, Wednesday afternoon.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Nelson Banganan Bagni, 57, married, farmer, and resident Barangay Nalbuan, Licuan-Baay Abra.
Initial police investigation showed that the water supply of the victim’s farm was reportedly interrupted that prompted him to go to the source to fix the same.
However, his wife felt uncomfortable considering that the victim never came back since he went to fix the water supply of their farm that caused their relatives to locate his whereabouts.
After several hours of searching, his lifeless body was found in the waterfalls and the same reportedly sustained head injuries that might have caused his instantaneous death.
Probers are still ascertaining on whether or not there was a foul play in the victim’s untimely demise.
