BONTOC, Mountain Province January 23 – A 55-year old farmer died after she allegedly hanged herself inside her residence at Onfig, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Eliza Fumanes Magkachi, 55, single, farmer, and a resident of Omfig, Bontoc, Mountain Province.
Initial police investigation showed that her neighbors were surprised why were there so many flies that were coming from the victim’s residence that prompted them to look inside on what happened to her.
To their surprise, they found her lifeless body hanging inside her house.
Her body was described to be on a state of decomposition and that she was said to be suffering from lucid intervals.
The victim’s body was subjected to the necessary autopsy to ascertain the real cause of her death inside her house.
