PEÑARRUBIA, Abra April 20 – A 35-year old jobless man was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for alleged rape in relation to the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law in his residence at Lusuac, here, Friday dawn.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual as Alfredo Tadeo Tadeo a.k.a Pidong, 35 years old, single, unemployed and a resident of barangay Lusuac, Peñarrubia, Abra.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rafael Alzate of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 1 in Bangued for alleged rape in relation to RA 7610 with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the Peñarrubia Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
