TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The newly constructed multi-purpose building to serve as the Kalinga Pasalubong Center, located near the welcome arch in Talaca, Agbannawag, was inaugurated today, February 9, 2024.
The Pasalubong Center was established to market the wide range of locally crafted products and delectable delicacies of the province to all visitors.
The view deck of the solar-powered center is a potential tourist attraction where visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery overlooking the mountains and ranges in the Province of Kalinga and the rice fields and plains of the province of Isabela.
The inauguration was led by Rev. Father Koshi Cris Dupa-as, together with Kalinga Representative Allen Jesse C. Mangaoang, Governor James Edduba’s representative Johnny Maymaya, Board Member Tony Bakilan, Tabuk City Acting Mayor Dick Bal-o, DTI Kalinga Provincial Director Renie Ramos, and DPWH-Kalinga LKDEO personnel led by DE Engr. Ruby Uyam.
Along with a few entrepreneurs from Kalinga, officials and other prominent figures from Barangay Agbannawag were also present.
