BONTOC, Mountain Province – Members of the Mountain Province Shotokan Karate Club (MPSKC) clinched an impressive total of 37 medals at the 6th Annual Northern Luzon Karate Championship, held on February 11, 2024, at the Wangal Sports Complex in La Trinidad, Benguet.

The club expressed its deep gratitude to the Bontoc Local Government Unit (LGU) for its unwavering support providing not only a conducive venue for training but also facilitating their transportation to and from the venue.
Their coaches are Sensei Leonard Abbugao, Jr., Sensei Jacqueline Milagros Joven, and Sensei Alsannyster Patingan.
Meanwhile, Mayor Jerome “Chagsen” Tudlong, Jr., commended their dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship, emphasizing their positive representation to the local community.
Further, the MPSKC extends an invitation to all interested participants to join their training sessions on the following schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. at the Multipurpose Hall, Provincial Plaza, or starting from 6:00 P.M. onwards at the Municipal Capitol Lobby.
