TABUK CITY, Kalinga June 19 – A 35-year old labourer died after his motorcycle skidded along the road and bumped a gmelina tree on the right side at Magabbangon, Cudal, here, Sunday.
Senior Superintendent Brent Majco, provincial director of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the fatality as Modesto Sesenando Baguiwan, 35 years old, laborer, and a resident of Pagogo, Dupligan, Tanudan, Kalinga.
Initial police investigation showed a concerned resident called up the local police station informing the police authorities on the presence of a wrecked motorcycle and a sprawled body of a person in the place of incident.
Upon arrival in the accident scene, responding police operatives discovered the lifeless body of the victim who allegedly died three hours earlier and the totally wrecked motorcycle on the side of the road.
Probers also discovered skid marks on the road measuring more than 12 meters which is an indication that the motorcycle skidded before ramming on the tree that inflicted injuries on the victim’s body.
