LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – A 75-year old jobless man was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on five warrants of arrest for alleged violation of the Bouncing Check Law in his residence at Kapangan Village, Balili, here, Monday.
Chief Inspector Benson Macliing, chief of the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station, identified the arrested individual as Greg Galuten y Cadio, 75, Married, Unemployed, native of Mankayan Benguet, and a resident of Kapangan Village Balili, La Trinidad Benguet.
He was arrested by virtue of five warrants of arrest issued by Judge Josephine Gayagay of the Municipal Trial Court in cities (MTCC) in Tabuk City for five counts of violation of the Bouncing Check Law with a recommended bail of P50,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
