BAUKO, Mountain Province – A 45-year old man was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents after having found in his possession suspected illegal firarms and illegal drugs during the service of a search warrant in his residence at Guinzadan, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent Cornelio Comila, officer-in-charge of the Mountain Province Police Office, identified the arrested individual as Wilbur Tulabes Bangsoy 45, single, jobless and a resident of Barangay Guinzadan Sur, Bauko, Mountain Province.
Confiscated from him by virtue of a search warrant issued by Judge Joseph Patnaaan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 36 in Bontoc were one Magnum 357 revolver loaded with six ammunitions; one caliber .22 rifle with one magazine containing three live ammos; one converted long caliber .22 with silencer; two magazines for Thompson caliber .45 pistol; three silencers for caliber .22; assorted ammos of different firearms; different drug paraphernalia; three sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or Shabu wrapped in a mentos candy wrapper; small iron kettle containing suspected shabu, all weighing more or less 1 gram and estimated DBB value of P5,000; and cash of P17,000.00.
The arrested individual and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bauko Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the disposition of the cases against him.
