ITOGON, Benguet September 10 – A 29-year old man died after he accidentally fell on the concrete pavement while he was gathering papaya for his pigs at Sal-angan, Ampucao, here, Saturday.
Police authorities identified the victim as Marcon Sali-em Mendoza, 29, married and a resident of Sal-angan, Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was gathering papaya to feed his pigs when he accidentally slipped on a rock that caused him to fall on a 15-meter ravine causing his head to bang on a pavement below.
His lifeless remains was recovered a day after the said incident and was brought to their residence for him to be given a decent wake and burial.
