BAGUIO CITY – A 46-year old man was injured after he was allegedly shot by a lone gunman in front of a pizza parlor, along Cariño St., here, Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the injured individual as Alexander Estimo Dizon, 46 years old, married, and a resident of Bangar, La Union.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was standing in front of the pizza parlor when he was fired upon by a lone gunman who immediately fled towards an undisclosed direction after the incident.
The victim was immediately rushed by concerned residents to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment for the lone gunshot wound that he sustained on his neck.
The case is still subject to further investigation to ascertain the identity of the suspect and the motive of the incident.
