TABUK CITY, Kalinga February 17 – A man was injured after he was shot by a still unidentified assailant during an altercation at Purok 4, Bulanao, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the victim as Paolo Pangusban Chagwasi, 20, single, and resident of barangay Tuga, Tabuk City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim’s group had an altercation with another group wherein they challenged each other to a fistfight.
However, instead of heeding the challenge, the suspect reportedly pulled out a still undisclosed firearm and fired at the victim hitting him on his foot before fleeing towards an disclosed direction.
The victim was rushed to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives.
