BAGUIO CITY February 17 – A 22-year old man was injured after he was stabbed on his abdomen by his drinking partner inside a house at San Luis, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the victim as Tonton Cabasag Baydan, 22, single, and a resident of 109 Ibays Building, Lourdes Proper, Baguio City while the suspect was named as Onofre Bodig Danggalan, native of Paracelis, Mt Province.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect, together with some companions, were having a drinking session when a heated altercation suddenly erupted between them that escalated into a fistfight.
After a few moments, the suspect was able to grab a knife and stabbed the victim once on his abdomen before fleeing towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was rushed by his friends to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while a case is being prepared for filing against the suspect who is still at large.
